1969

ASC and Quantum Testing Laboratory established. Doug Parry Founder and Managing Director

1971

ASC certified Australia’s first bulk oilseed export – sunflowers to Europe (Conti / QGGA)

1972

Official laboratory / superintendent Queensland Graingrowers Association and Victorian Oatgrowers Pool

1975

Inspected and certified over one million tons export barley to Russia (Cargill / Dreyfus)

1976

Official laboratory / superintendent NSW Oilseeds Marketing Board

1978

FOSFA (London) Analyst accreditation

1979

Approved laboratory for malting barley for TTWB (TTLC) Taiwan

1982

Accredited referee status with AOCS USA for aflatoxin testing in grains oilseeds and legumes

1997

ASC attained Australian Government AQIS accreditation as Government Quarantine Approved Laboratory

1998

GAFTA (London) Superintendent & Analyst accredited for grain and feed analyses

1999

Supervised over two million tons of Australian grain, oilseeds and pulse exports

2002

From 1991 to 2002 coloured and certified over 6 million MT Australian feed barley to Saudi Arabia

2003

ISO 9001 Accredited Laboratory and Inspection Company

2004

Certification included over 500,000 MT containerized export grains, pulses and oilseeds

2005

Keynote presenter (Canola Superintendence and Analyses) at APSEA conference, Lahore Pakistan

2006

First release of ASC Database to manage laboratory sample intake

Deregulation of Australian containerized wheat exports: Over 4 million MT grains & oilseeds certified

Formalised the Australian ASC inspector network with contractual agreements

New instruments lab for Mycotoxins, Pesticide Residues & Heavy Metals – Agilent GC & LC Triple Quads & ICPMS

2014

NATA ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation expanded to 258 grain & oilseed methods. Agilent Partner Laboratory Agreement signed.

2015

Over 112 million MT of historical grain quality data captured in the Database
